Live wallpaper

  1. Save the MP4 to your phone.
  2. Open it in a free app like intoLive and export as a Live Photo.
  3. Settings → Wallpaper → Add New → Live Photo → pick it.
  4. On the lock screen, press and hold to keep the motion on.
Android · moving

Video wallpaper

  1. Save the MP4 to your phone.
  2. Install a Video Live Wallpaper app (Play Store).
  3. Open it, choose the MP4, fit to screen.
  4. Set as wallpaper — lock, home, or both.
Any phone · still

Static wallpaper

  1. Download the PNG.
  2. Open it in Photos and tap Share / the … menu.
  3. Choose Use as Wallpaper.
  4. Position and set. Done.
Tip: on iPhone, saving a raw video as your wallpaper needs the one-time Live Photo step above — iOS doesn’t accept a plain video file directly. Android sets the MP4 straight through a live-wallpaper app.
